Goliath grouper can be caught year round. Our summer months however are their spawning season. What does this mean? The biggest and aggressive groupers of the season. Ranging from 100-500lbs in our area. These giants hit like a freight train! We typically fish for these inside of Boca Grande, occasionally we head nearshore and also pull them off the local wrecks.
Check out Joe's Goliath Grouper from his recent charter! He did a GREAT job getting multiple fish to the boat. Some people make it look easy, but there is a learning curve. These fish really test your strength, and sometimes your balance.
