Jumping into tarpon season 2019. Fish are here and HUNGRY! Feeding on live thread fins, and crabs. Anglers have been battling some wind and waves with these early season fish. A good tarpon season stretches into mid to late July. As these fish are still as far south as the Florida keys, they will travel up the coast in vast numbers in their annual spring migration.
Our first official Hill Tide falls this week and anglers are excited. Our "hill tides" are some of the strongest outgoing tides of the year. Crabs are already flushing out of the pass getting these fish fired up. This year anglers are using Penn Slammers to reel in their silver kings.
