The first month of tarpon season has been eventful. Many anglers successfully landed their dream catch. Ive had anglers from all over the globe, coming to Boca Grande, Florida to fish the annual tarpon migration. We started the month with a GREAT bite and ended the month with a tropical storm. Ive fished with a lot of GREAT anglers thoughout the month of May.
The fish have primarily hung out in the pass. They just began spilling out on to the beaches as the tropical storm was approaching. Reports this week is they are slowly trickling back in. With warm sunny weather coming this weekend, anglers should hold on. These fish return hungry!
