Wrapping up November with a few trips out into the Gulf to chase king mackerel. Our latest trip started slow, then picked up once we moved locations. We came upon a wreck holding Amber Jack. Although the season is closed until Jan 1st, they are an intense catch and release. Cameron and crew catching over 20 AJ's throughout the afternoon. These fish wrecked some tackle, even breaking hooks. Maxel reels really did the job getting these 40-50lb fish to the boat. Video of this trip is our YOUTUBE update this week.
